Our Trainers

Janelle

Janelle has been training dogs for over 10 years, holding positions that have included Daycare/Kennel Manager, Vet Assistant, and Obedience Instructor. Additionally, Janelle has completed numerous training courses on canine handling and body language, as well as attending UB Mini-Vet school seminars. Some of Janelle’s affiliations and memberships are APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers), PCSA (Pet Care Services Association), Certified Pet Care Technician (CPCT), AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, and is American Red Cross Certified.

Alicia

Alicia has been a part of the Dog Days training team since 2001. Alicia’s training philosophy embraces positive reinforcement, canine enrichment and family participation . This trainer enjoys teaching all of our classes here at Dog Days, she is also a certified AKC’s Canine Good Citizen and Tricks Dog Evaluator. Alicia holds certifications through the American Red Cross, ABKA’s Certified Pet Tech, CHA instructor as well as completing various APDT and veterinarian clinics. Alicia’s love of animals has been passed on to her daughter, spending most of their time with their Dobermans (Kaiju and Renji) and Horses (too many to name.)

Katelyn

Katelyn has been working with dogs for over 4 years. She graduated from Animal Behavior College’s Dog Training program with honors where she studied canine body language, learning theory, behavior modification. Following the concepts of positive reinforcement & LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Adversive), Katelyn loves helping dogs and their owners learn how to communicate with each other and build life long relationships. Katelyn is a professional member of APDT (Association of Professionals Dog Trainers) and is certified in Pet CPR & First Aid. Additionally, she has experience as a professional pet sitter & dog walker.

Corinne

After graduating from Animal Behavior College with degrees in Veterinary Assistant and Dog Training, Corinne has been working with dogs for over 5 years. She is certified in both Pet CPR and First Aid.  Corinne has held multiple positions throughout her career ranging from Daycare/Kennel Supervisor to Veterinary Assistant that have given her valuable experience and knowledge about all dog behavior, especially utilizing positive reinforcements to aid in you and your dog to have a happy and healthy life together.  Corinne is also fluent in Spanish.
